Nest with one-way, strong-axis rules

Unlimited copies can be dragged onto the plate. The strong-axis rule blocks rotations that would turn a part into the weak axis, keeping directional material correctly oriented.

Download the full layout as a DXF, SVG or PNG file, dimensioned in real millimetres; send it directly to your laser, plasma, CNC router or waterjet machine.

What can I export as a cut file?

Download the layout as a DXF or SVG cut file for laser, plasma, CNC or waterjet, plus a PNG for sharing. Dimensions are in real millimetres.

Which machines and file formats are supported?

It is built for laser, plasma, CNC router and waterjet workflows. DXF or SVG outlines import; DXF, SVG and PNG export. Units are millimetres throughout.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs client-side; your geometry stays in your browser. There is no account and no cloud storage.

What is the strong-axis (one-way) rule?

3D woven composites or grained sheet are far stronger along one axis. The tool blocks 90°/270° rotations that would turn a part into the weak direction, so load-bearing parts stay correctly oriented.

Can I nest multiple copies of a part?

Yes. Unlimited copies can be dragged onto the plate from a single reference part; collision checks keep every part inside the cuttable area.

Do I need to install anything?

No. One Way Cutter is a web application; opening it in your browser is enough.
